Erica Holmes | King Nyle’s Mother

I happen to be promoting enrollment for my son’s school after church one Sunday and Arnetta Scruggs was at the table next to me promoting Bloom Inc.  I asked my son to go over get a brochure and info. Nyle was 12yrs old.  The first day I dropped Nyle off for the third Friday meeting of Bloom, Nyle text me the whole time asking to pick him up.  I declined.  Fast forward a year later Nyle is 13 going to 8th grade. Nyle now ask me when it is time to go to Bloom, when is the next volunteer opportunity, etc.  I really enjoyed the opportunity to attend the Mother’s Raising Son’s workshop at the Stand Up Conference. I met new women and saw old friends. It it truly blessed me.  I am very grateful and blessed for Bloom, the mentor’s, and facilitator’s.  You are doing a great job with these young men and us Mom’s!
